APW/GAE Present: "Hit" - Staged Reading

Hit
Balcony Theatre (Room 400)

An "alternative-alternative family" drama focusing on the story of two hit men--one now dead--and the child they rescue from an abusive foster home and raise in their own

image. On a fateful night, the now grown-up Asher and surviving Wyatt separately accept the same job to kill the same man at the same time & place...but the target doesn’t show. Wyatt and Asher recall the events of their lives which ultimately led them to this night---which will have dire consequences for them both.

Written by current MFA Acting student Shanon Weaver and presented by Athens Playwright Workshop in conjunction with the UGA Theatre & Film Studies Graduate Acting Ensemble (GAE).
