Academic Professional | Stage Manager

Chelsea will be heading to the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre this summer to work as the stage manager on the productions of Anything Goes and Little Shop of Horrors

Recent work includes Deck Manager at Houston Ballet on The Nutcracker, Stage Manager at UGA-Department of Theatre & Film Studies on Little Shop of Horrors and Mother Courage and Her Children, Stage Manager for the 2023 Texas Shakespeare Festival on Pride & Prejudice and Lear. Chelsea has also worked with Lees-McRae Summer Theatre, Sarasota Opera, Central City Opera, The Know Theatre of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Ballet, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Their former teaching experience includes work as a Technical Theatre Director at Cedar Ridge High School within the Visual & Performing Arts Academy in Austin, Texas.

Chelsea received their MFA in Stage Management at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). While working on their Bachelor of Arts at Texas Woman's University, Chelsea was a member of the honorary theatre fraternity, Alpha Psi Omega, and served as chapter president. Chelsea is currently a member of USITT and the Stage Managers' Association.
