Academic Professional | Stage Manager Chelsea is currently working as the Stage Manager for the upcoming UGA Theatre production Murder on the Orient Express. They have also been accepted as the Stage Management Deputy Coordinator for KCACTF Region 4. Recent work includes Deck Manager with Houston Ballet on The Nutcracker. Production Stage Manager with Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre on Anything Goes and Little Shop of Horrors. Stage Manager with the Texas Shakespeare Festival on Pride & Prejudice and Lear. Chelsea has also worked with Lees-McRae Summer Theatre, Sarasota Opera, Central City Opera, The Know Theatre of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Ballet, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Chelsea has worked as the Stage Manager with the UGA-Department of Theatre & Film Studies on Nine to Five, Little Shop of Horrors and Mother Courage and Her Children. Chelsea worked for three years as a technical theatre director at Cedar Ridge High School within the Visual & Performing Arts Academy. While there, Chelsea worked on almost 30 productions ranging from musicals, plays, and a variety of events. Chelsea received their MFA in Stage Management at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). While working on their Bachelor of Arts at Texas Woman's University, Chelsea was a member of the honorary theatre fraternity, Alpha Psi Omega, and served as chapter president. Chelsea is currently a member of USITT, the Stage Managers' Association, and KCACTF Region 4.
