MFA Film Students' Documentary Featured on CBS

Working alongside Brooklyn-based filmmaker Joshua Reed, UGA MFA Film student Emani Rashad Saucier has been developing a documentary on businessman Robert F. Smith's pledge to pay off the student loan debt of Morehouse College's 2019 graduating class. The documentary aims to "juxtapose the stories of Morehouse College class of 2019" against the backdrop of American's growing student debt crisis. Saucier and Reed, both 2019 Morehouse graduates themselves, were featured on CBS News report titled, "When Students Graduate Debt Free."
