Internship Auditions: Horizon, Aurora, & Actor's Express

In the coming weeks, we will have three different theatre companies auditioning/interviewing our students. Horizon Theatre, Aurora Theatre, and Actor’s Express are looking for interns and apprentices in all areas: acting, design/tech, stage management, and directing. These auditions/interviews are geared toward graduating seniors. 

March 18: Horizon Theatre

Group Meeting: 4:30PM (Arena Theatre)

Prepare 2 contrasting, contemporary monologues no longer than 2 minutes in length. 

March 23: Aurora Theatre

Group Meeting: 4:00PM (Location TBA)

Audition Requirements: Prepare 1 song and 1 monologue (the entire package should be no longer than 2 minutes) or 2 contrasting monologues (also 2 minutes or less). Aurora is also looking for graduate students interested in teaching acting or musical theatre for their summer camps. 

March 27: Actor’s Express

Actors

•    Headshot/resume

•    Two contrasting monologues (no Shakespeare)

•    Singing is optional. Actors may choose to present 16-32 bars acapella in addition to monologues

 

Directors and/or Stage Managers

•    Resume

•    Any additional relevant supporting materials (portfolio, prompt book, director’s notebook, capstone project documentation, etc.)
