Note: The above time slot signup and audition form works for both 9 to 5 and the Experience UGA production.

GENERAL AUDITION GUIDELINES

For the initial audition, students are asked to read the script (available on scribd.com), determine which role you’d like to audition for, and prepare a cut of one of that character’s songs from the show. These cuts have been graciously provided by our music director, Rachel Townes. You can find them below under the "Character Breakdown" section, complete with sheet music and piano tracks with the melody line for students to practice prior to auditioning. Rachel Townes will be present during auditions, providing accompaniment. Learn the song and sell it!

You will also be asked to perform a memorized 1 minute monologue of your choice, preferably contemporary and fitting the role you are seeking. It does not have to be from the show.

Audition guidelines for Experience UGA: Play About Plays & Aesop's Greatest Hits! will be the same. Visit the Experience UGA Auditions Page for more information.
